Preparations are now underway in the entire TikiWiki community for work leading up to this highly expected release.

Tiki 4.0 will include massive improvements to the categories and groups system, bringing better harmonization of permissions across features, easy-to-implement workspaces for different user groups, and different view perspectives for these workspaces.

This event focused on Google Summer of Code 2009 projects for TikiWiki:

  • Kaltura Video Integration
  • MediaWiki-TikiWiki Importer

All of the above features will be in the upcoming version 4 of Tiki which will be out before the end of the year.
